I&#8217;m a Swiss citizen from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/xMpvkvS1wqxhwv498\" target=\"_blank\">Savi\u00e8se<\/a>, in the canton (county) of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/3SEF6ibt4o1ot8Y99\" target=\"_blank\">Valais<\/a>, on the river Rh\u00f4ne before Lake L\u00e9man (or Lake Geneva).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My passion is <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Franco-Proven%C3%A7al\" target=\"_blank\">Arpitan<\/a>, the endangered latin language also called officially &#8220;Francoproven\u00e7al&#8221; or commonly &#8220;patois&#8221;. My endeavour is to use that language and help Savi\u00e8se people continue to use that thousand-year-old language for as long as possible. Kasstan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">But why such a passion, Dzakye? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simply because it was a breeze to hear the poetry of that language ring to my ears as a child when my mother Maria spoke it with her mother Alice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, as you can certainly imagine, because every language on earth is the <strong>fruit of a long evolution<\/strong>, anchored in a particular climate, geography and culture. It is a precious highly <strong>original <\/strong>i<strong>nvention of the human mind<\/strong> to view the world and experience it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Any other interests, dear?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course. plenty of them. I&#8217;m a language teacher, a nature lover and a hobby gardener and photographer.
